Kansas motorcycle events, rallies and bike nights

Kansas motorcycle events are mostly homegrown: charity poker runs, toy runs, bike nights around Wichita, Kansas City and Topeka, and fall rides through the Flint Hills. For a big rally, Kansas sits in the middle of the map, with Sturgis to the north, Bikes, Blues & BBQ to the southeast and the Lone Star Rally to the south. Here's the calendar, and how to find and post events in the free Rippin' app.

Poker runs, charity rides and bike nights in Kansas

Charity poker runs are a Kansas tradition. Riders stop at five or so bars, shops or cafes, draw a card at each and the best hand wins a prize, with the money going to a local cause. They run most weekends from spring through fall. Read what a motorcycle poker run is.

Bike nights happen weekly at dealerships, bars and restaurants around Wichita, the Kansas side of Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan and Salina. Summer nights start late to dodge the heat.

Fall prairie rides through the Flint Hills fill September and October weekends, whether or not anyone posts them, and spring brings rides timed to the green-up after the burns.

Memorial and benefit rides for veterans, first responders and riders lost in crashes run across the state. Most are posted by local clubs and shops.
