The short version
Rippin' features at a glance
Most motorcycle apps do one job. They record, or they navigate, or they list events. Rippin' starts with a ride recorder and builds a game and a crew on top of it, so the ride you were going to take anyway pays you back.
The loop is simple. You ride with Rippin' recording. The ride claims turf, picks up poker cards, runs you through segments and stamps your passport. All of that pays points. Points buy gear-drop entries and turf locks. Your squad sees it, your level climbs, and next weekend you have a reason to ride a new road.
Here is how the features group together. Each group links to a full page with the details.
- RideRecord every ride, get a recap, build loops and navigate, see alerts on the map.
- PlayTurf Wars, poker runs, segments, points, gear drops, badges and levels.
- CrewSquads, group rides on one live map, the feed and the web live map.
- PlanMeets and events across the US, ride plan cards and the AI ride planner.
- Garage and privacyYour bikes, maintenance reminders, GPX in and out, and a home safe zone.
Ride
Ride: record it, recap it, find your way
Everything starts with one button. Tap Record Ride, put the phone away, and ride.
- Ride trackerTracks route, distance, moving time, elevation and speed in the background. No lap buttons, no route setup. TIME counts moving time, so a long lunch stop doesn't wreck your numbers. See the motorcycle ride tracker.
- Ride Wrapped and share cardsEvery ride ends with a swipeable recap of the map, miles, segments, turf and points, plus share cards sized for Instagram stories and posts. See Ride Wrapped and share cards.
- Auto-record and the Ride Log (Plus)Plus can record rides for you, and multi-day trips are kept as a ride log you can post as one ride, one day or the whole trip. See auto-record and the Ride Log.
- Loop builder and navigationTap roads on the map to build a loop, then ride it with turn-by-turn directions in Rippin' or hand it to Apple Maps or Google Maps. See the loop builder and navigation.
- Explore mapTurf, segments, poker stops, meets, popular spots, local tips and rider chatter on one map, with places you've already been marked "been there". See the Explore map.
- Alerts, widgets and Live ActivitiesRiders flag road hazards and you get weather alerts before you ride. Home-screen widgets show your turf and level, and an iPhone Live Activity sits on the lock screen while you record. See road and weather alerts and widgets and Live Activities.
Play
Play: turf, poker, segments and points
This is what makes Rippin' different from a plain tracker. None of it asks you to ride faster. It asks you to ride more, ride new roads and ride with people.
- Turf WarsRide a loop that closes back on itself and the land inside becomes your turf on the live map. Ride a tighter loop through someone else's turf to carve a piece out. Lock your best ground with points. Read how Turf Wars works.
- Poker runsRide to moto shops, cafes, bars and dealerships. Each stop deals one card when you arrive, no QR codes. Hold five, swap what you don't want, and your hand posts to the board. Read the poker run rules.
- Segments and leaderboardsRoads riders added and a person on the Rippin' team checked. Ride through one and you're timed automatically and land on its board, with a crown for the rider who owns it. See segments and leaderboards.
- Points and rewardsMiles, segments, turf and poker hands all pay. Badges, passport stamps and rating roads pay too. See how to earn points for riding.
- Gear dropsGiveaways of real gear from brands that ride with Rippin'. Every eligible rider gets one free entry per drop. See gear drops.
- Passport, badges, levels and XPA passport stamp for every town you ride through, badges for places you've actually been, and rider levels 1 to 25. See passport and badges and levels and XP.
Crew
Crew: squads, group rides and the feed
Riding is better with people, and so is the game. Rippin' gives your crew a home that isn't a group text.
- SquadsStart a squad, send the invite code, and keep chat, plans and turf in one place. Squad turf, squad leaderboards and squad poker runs. See squads.
- Group ridesEveryone in the group on one live map while you ride. Your live location is only shared when you start a group ride or broadcast. See group rides.
- The feedRides, turf claims, new bikes and level-ups from riders you follow and your area, with comments and @mentions.
- Live map on the webSee turf, poker stops and riders out right now in any browser at live.rippin.app. See the live map.
Plan
Plan: events, ride plans and the AI planner
Half of riding is figuring out where and when. These features handle the weekend before it starts.
- Meets and eventsBike nights, meets, rallies, swap meets, charity rides and toy runs across the US, including big rallies like Biketoberfest and Lone Star Rally. RSVP, see repeating weekly and monthly meets, and post your own. See motorcycle events.
- Ride plansShare a ride card with departure, route, stops and RSVPs so the crew actually shows up. Organizer Pro adds recurring ride plans.
- AI ride plannerBuilds loops, day trips and multi-day runs with stops and pacing. Free riders get a limited number, Plus is unlimited. See the AI ride planner.
- Route me herePick any spot on the map and get routed to it, then let the recorder show route options, arrival time, traffic and the posted speed limit.
Garage and privacy
Garage, data and privacy
The boring stuff, done properly. Your bikes, your ride history and your home stay yours.
- Garage and maintenanceAdd your bikes and build photos, see every recorded ride, lifetime miles, XP and badges, and keep a maintenance log with service reminders. See garage and maintenance.

Straight answers
What Rippin' doesn't do
Better you hear it here than find out on the road.
If pure navigation and offline maps are what you need most, REVER and Calimoto are better at that, and we say so in Rippin' vs REVER and Rippin' vs Calimoto. Plenty of riders run one of those for directions and Rippin' for the game, the crew and the rewards. For the full field, read the best motorcycle apps of 2026.
- No crash detection.
- No Apple Watch app, and no CarPlay or Android Auto.
- No offline maps. In areas with no signal, carry a backup.
- No intercom or Bluetooth headset integration.
- No lean-angle or track telemetry. Rippin' is for street riding, and it never rewards speed on public roads.
- Gear drops are US only.
FAQ
Questions riders ask.
Is Rippin' really free?
Yes. Recording rides, Turf Wars, poker runs, segments, squads, meets and the feed are all free and unlimited. Plus ($4.99/mo) and Organizer Pro ($8.99/mo) change what your rides pay and what spending costs, not what you can do.
What do I get with Rippin' Plus?
1.5x points on every ride, 5 free gear-drop entries a month, entries at 150 points instead of 250, 25% off turf locks, auto-recording and unlimited AI ride plans.
Who is Organizer Pro for?
Shops, brands and riders who host. It has everything in Plus, plus 2x points, 9 free entries a month, unlimited and recurring meets, official events on the calendar and recurring ride plans.
Does Rippin' work on Android?
Yes. Rippin' is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, and home-screen widgets work on both.
Do I have to touch my phone while riding?
No. Tap Record Ride before you leave and put the phone away. Segments, turf and poker cards are picked up on their own while you ride.
Does Rippin' have offline maps or crash detection?
No to both. If you ride where there's no signal, carry an offline map in another app, and don't count on Rippin' to detect a crash.
Where do I start if I only want one feature?
Start with the ride tracker. Everything else, from turf to points, comes from rides you record.
Ride once and see it all work.
Download Rippin' free on iPhone or Android, tap Record Ride, and your first loop will show you more than this page can.
