New York motorcycle events, rallies and bike nights

New York motorcycle events start with Americade, the big touring rally at Lake George that usually runs in June, and AMA Pro Motocross at Unadilla in late summer. Around those, the calendar is local and busy: spring blessings of the bikes, weekly bike nights, summer charity rides, September remembrance rides and December toy runs. The live list on this page shows what's on the Rippin' map in New York right now.

The big one

Americade: New York's touring rally

Americade has been held at Lake George for decades and usually runs in June. It is a touring rally more than a party rally: guided rides and self-guided routes out into the Adirondacks, a big vendor expo, and riders from all over the Northeast and beyond filling the village. Check the organizer for this year's dates and schedule.

Book a room early, because the village fills up. The roads are the point: NY 9N up the west shore and over Tongue Mountain, the High Peaks on NY 73, and the central lakes on NY 28 and NY 30. All of them are in the best motorcycle roads in New York.
