Arizona motorcycle events cluster in the cooler months: Run to the Rez in San Carlos this October, the Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion in January, AMA Supercross at State Farm Stadium in February, then Arizona Bike Week in spring. How to find bike nights in Arizona
Big rallies are once a year. Bike nights are every week, and they are how you find riders to ride with. Rippin' puts them on the same map as turf, segments and poker stops.
Arizona bike nights shift with the season. In the low desert summer, many move to later evenings or early-morning breakfast rides. In the high country, summer is peak. If your regular night isn't on the map yet, post it.

Post your Arizona motorcycle event
Arizona's events map is thin today, which means a bike night you post gets seen. Any rider can post an event.
Shops, clubs and brands that host a lot of events can use Organizer Pro ($8.99/mo) for unlimited and recurring meets, official events on the calendar and recurring ride plans. A shop that hosts a bike night can also become a poker stop, so every rider who shows up gets a card. Read more on motorcycle events in Rippin'.

Getting there
Make the ride to the event count
- Claim turf on the wayRide a loop there and back on different roads and the land inside becomes turf. In Arizona most of the map is unclaimed, so a long ride to Havasu or San Carlos can claim a lot.
- Collect poker cardsRoute past poker stops and pick up a card at each one. Your best five-card hand posts to the poker leaderboard. See poker runs.
- Plan it with the crewShare a ride plan with departure time, route, stops and RSVPs so the crew shows up at the same gas station at the same time.
- Check the weatherRippin' sends weather alerts before you ride. In monsoon season, that matters. Read riding in Arizona heat.
Before you go
Before you ride to an Arizona rally
Big Arizona events often mean long rides across open desert. A little planning keeps the weekend about the event.
Riding with a crew? Our page on the motorcycle group ride app covers how to keep everyone on one live map, and squads keeps chat and plans in one place.
- Confirm the date and entry with the organizer the week before. Plans change.
- Plan fuel stops. Routes to San Carlos, Lake Havasu and the Rez cross long stretches with few services.
- Check the road and weather on AZ511 and in the app the morning you leave.
- Leave early and ride home in daylight. Wildlife and cattle are hardest to see at dusk on rural roads.
- Carry water, even in winter. The desert is dry in every season.
- Share a ride plan with your squad so everyone knows the departure time, route and stops.
Seasons
Arizona's motorcycle event calendar, by season

Winter (December to February): Prime time in Phoenix, Tucson and Lake Havasu. Toy runs in December, then events like the Rockabilly Reunion and Supercross. Snowbirds and visiting riders add to the crowds.
Spring (March to May): The busiest stretch. Arizona Bike Week, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, and spring rallies just over the line in Nevada.
Summer (June to September): Desert events slow down and move to evenings. High-country towns like Flagstaff, Prescott, Payson and Show Low pick up the riding. Check the best time to ride in Arizona for the full picture.
