Poker runs, minus the paper
A motorcycle poker run app for riders, squads and the shops that host them
Rippin' is a free motorcycle poker run app. Ride to poker stops at moto shops, cafes, bars and dealerships, and each stop deals you a card when you arrive. No QR codes, no paper cards. Hold five, swap the ones you don't want, and your hand posts to the poker leaderboard. Squads can run their own, and businesses can become a stop.

The basics
What a motorcycle poker run is
A poker run is a ride with a card game built in. Riders visit a set of stops, pick up a card at each one, and the best hand at the end wins. Traditionally it's paper: a sheet, a stamp at every stop, cards drawn from a deck at the finish, often to raise money for a cause. Our explainer on motorcycle poker runs covers the history and the classic format.
Rippin' keeps the game and drops the clipboard. The stops are real places on the map, the cards are dealt by the app when you arrive, and the game fits into the rides you already do.

Charity poker runs are a great tradition. If your club runs one on paper, keep it. Rippin' adds a poker game to your regular rides too.
For squads
Run a poker run for your squad
Squads can set up their own poker runs, so your crew can pick the day and play it together. Plan the route with a ride plan so everyone knows the departure and stops, ride it as a group ride with everyone on one map, and settle who had the best hand at the last stop. Squad poker runs sit alongside squad turf and squad leaderboards. See squads for the rest.
Plan it
Planning a good poker run loop
The best poker runs are good rides first. Open the map, find a few stops that sit on roads you'd ride anyway, and link them into a loop with the loop builder. A loop that closes back on itself can also claim turf, so the same ride pays twice.
- Pick stops spread across the ride, not bunched at one end.
- Plan fuel and food. A cafe stop doubles as lunch.
- Keep the distance comfortable for the least experienced rider in the group.
- Check opening hours. A stop is more fun when it's open.

Ride it right
Poker run etiquette that keeps stops happy
Poker runs work anywhere there's a good loop of stops. Riding out west? Our Arizona guide has roads that link up small towns nicely. For more ways to play, see the motorcycle game app guide or the best free motorcycle app overview.
- Your hand doesn't care how fast you got there. Rippin' does not reward speed, so take the good road, not the quick one.
- A bar stop doesn't need a drink. The card is dealt when you arrive. Ride sober.
- Buy something. A coffee or a sticker keeps the stop glad to have riders.
- Park considerately and keep the exits quiet.
- Don't touch the phone while riding. Check your hand when you're parked.
